Coloini + Lane were appointed by Radford Semele Baptist Church to produce a scheme that enhances the existing Baptist Church, whilst providing a new DDA compliant ramped access to a new entrance foyer that houses a small office and an accessible WC with baby change facilities.

The proposal also links the existing church auditorium to the church hall that is screened behind a dilapidated brickwork wall, which is replaced with a split-face blockwork wall, adding further interest to the front elevation and street scene.

During the feasibility stage, Coloini + Lane proposed two options, one modern and one traditional, with the traditional option prevailing and will be open to use by all members of the local community.
