Our client reached out to us following their previous architect leaving them with a scheme that was both impractical and undesirable, resulting large lead wells around the first floor windows and a pitched, tiled roof that finished close to the eaves level of the main dwelling.
We presented a carefully considered and well designed alternative to our client that utilises a low-pitch zinc roof with a concealed gutter detail, incorporating 3 modern flat-glass rooflights that spill an abundance of natural light into a refreshing kitchen, dining and living space. Slim profile large format sliding doors with level access to the outside provide great views down the landscaped garden, seamlessly connecting the indoor space with the outdoor area.
